Furnishing Achievements
The Furnishing Achievements Program provides basic home furnishings needs to families demonstrating a need and a willingness to participate in an ongoing effort under the supervision of an organization or agency to alleviate the circumstances they are currently experiencing.
Requests must come from a social service, educational, or medical organization working or willing to work directly with the family, and must be in writing, either on a BFW Charities Request Form, or on the organization’s letterhead.
BFW Charities has significantly increased the amount of donations to families in need by working with organizations such as Lutheran Social Services, Catholic Charity Agencies, Crisis Nurseries, Inc., and numerous county social service agencies and churches. We have assisted hundreds of families with beds, kitchen tables and chairs, dressers and couches, along with other many other miscellaneous necessary home furnishing items.
